Bad Juju is the evil side of Juju embodied in a killer bunny doll. Juju herself is no saint either. Bad Juju was a major player in chapter 4 of AntiBunny but hasn't been seen since, but you can see her soon in Chronicles of Avernyght, in a guest bit I'll be doing over there.

This pic started as a simple sketch, but it really woke up the goth in me, so I decided it needed some creepy background (a decaying wooden walkway overlooking a graveyard. I think the broken handrail gives it an extra creepy sort of "we're not supposed to be here." kind of look), and then I decided it needed lots and lots of shading.

I think I was in a Tim Burton mood at the time...I still haven't seen Coraline. Stupid theaters and their scheduling. Who wants to watch a Tim Burton movie when the sun's still up? Guess I'll wait for the DVD.

EDIT: Actually got to see it. There was a freak late night showing of it, that wasn't listed in the paper, and was still in 3D. No one else was in the theater either. That alone was kind of creepy in a way. A sort of off the books showing that no one else went to.

The movie its self was amazing, and the 3D takes the Burtonesque style to the next level. Unlike previous 3D movies that have been all looks so far, this one had the story and character to back it up. Even without 3D it would be awesome but with it, it's quite a mindblowing experience. It makes me wonder how awesome Nightmare Before Christmas would be in 3D.

Well, technically it's not a Tim Burton movie. The director is Henry Selick. Either way, though... if you saw it in the theater, it would still be dark in the theater, and you'd have a much bigger screen to watch it on. And especially if you find a theater that still has it in 3D (some of them still do, apparently), you just get absorbed in the movie. Even if you can't get to the 3D version, I assume you'd still get really into it.
